Racial Justice & Neighborhood Equity Fellowship

New Economy Project is accepting applications for its Summer 2021 Racial Justice & Neighborhood Equity Fellowship, open to undergraduate and graduate students.

Fellows work at the intersection of economic justice organizing and cooperative economics, with a focus on racial justice and neighborhood equity. The 2021 Fellow will work with New Economy Project staff and partner organizations, for example, on campaigns to advance community land trusts and social housing, worker co-ops, community-based financial co-ops, and public banking. Over the course of the summer, the Fellow will gain exposure to policy advocacy, community and popular education, coalition-building, participatory action research, direct action, and other strategies. The Fellow may also contribute to our GIS mapping, video series, and other media projects.

Please note that the 2021 Fellow will work remotely, with supervision and support from New Economy Project staff. Click here for more information and to apply.
