As an intern at NJ Transit, you will oversee projects from concepts to completion. Our interns step away from the regular sitting at the desk to having the opportunity at hands-on experience with several other business units within NJ Transit. Our ideal candidate is passionate about learning and using creative solutions to make an impact on the lives of others every day.
Objective of this role:
- Assist SSG with user support request (Hardware and software)
- Create Crystal Reports using Version XI
- Quality Assurance Process
- Setup/configure computer hardware such as PC’s and Printers
- Documentation writing
- UAT Software testing
- Create user guides
- Assist SSG with the new projects
Skills and Qualifications:
- Working towards a degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science Management (Junior, or Graduate Student)
- Familiar with Windows OS (Win 10 and Server OS)
- Familiar with Relational Database concepts
- Familiar with SQL/Oracle database
- Excellent communication/writing skills
- Hardware experience
- Knowledge of QA process and knowledge of report writing software
- Customer Service skills
- Basic computer troubleshooting skills
- Must be a team player to work with multiple groups
