The Dream Resource Center Presents: Undocumented Stories

October 19, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

RSVP HERE

The Dream Resource Center (DRC) is proud to announce the launch of Undocumented Stories, an exhibit curated by UCLA students, DRC staff, and SolArt. Undocumented Stories utilizes storytelling to uplift the lived experiences of undocumented youth who have built a movement to change policies impacting higher education, access to healthcare, and deportation proceedings. Undocumented Stories will also include stories of unaccompanied minors to help contextualize this humanitarian crisis. Undocumented Stories is a multimedia exhibit that seeks to empower immigrant communities to reconstruct narratives, shape public opinion, and influence policy affecting undocumented immigrant community. The exhibit will use photographs, audio, and artifacts to showcase these powerful stories.

After a successful six-month exhibit at the UCLA Labor Center, The Opportunity Network, The Hispanic Federation, and The Edwin Gould Foundation are collaboratively supporting this exhibit in New York City for one month. Please join us and our communities in welcoming The Dream Resource Center in unveiling their exhibit here in New York.

Light refreshments will be provided.
