Election Debrief: Reporters’ Roundtable

November 18, 2016 @ 9:30 am - 11:30 am

This forum will provide an examination of 2016 electoral season in which working-class anxiety and rage assumed a central role. A group of prominent journalists will assess what the primaries and the general election tell us about the current political landscape, especially with regard to racial, gender and class voting patterns.

Speakers:

  • Amy Goodman, co-founder, executive producer and host of Democracy Now!
  • Harold Meyerson, editor-at-large of The American Prospect
  • Jamilah King, senior staff writer at Mic.com, former senior editor at Colorlines, associate editor of WireTap, and Murphy Institute alumnus
  • Julio Ricardo Varela, Digital Media Director and Political Editor for Futuro Media, founder of LatinoRebels.com, and frequent LatinoUSA contributor

The forum is free but registration is required.

Registration will open on October 17th at 11am
