| JOB SUMMARY: | The Senior Career Planning and Development Associate will have the responsibility for assisting and counseling students in relation to academic success throughout medical school and post-graduation placement in residency programs. Develop and facilitate presentations and agendas for career development/life planning workshops/seminars for each level of student addressing each medical school milestone. Incumbent will be involved in all aspects of College of Medicine Career Planning and Development including career counseling/life planning, placement, and recruitment. |
| MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: | Master’s degree in counseling, education, student services or related field and one year of relevant experience OR Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study and three years of higher education experience in advising or counseling required. Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills. |
| PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: | Experience with Career and/or Academic Advising preferred. |
| WORK DAYS: | Monday – Friday, Days with some evenings |
