THE GRADUATE CENTER IS LOOKING FOR A POSTDOCTORAL SCHOLARS PROGRAM ADMINISTRATOR

The Graduate Center’s Stone Center on Socio-Economic Inequality conducts and promotes quantitative research using inequality as a lens on society, the economy and politics. The Stone Center’s postdoctoral program, launched in 2018, enables scholars with a recent Ph.D. to spend two years producing empirical research on topics related to inequality in the United States, cross-nationally, or both. Postdoctoral scholars are expected to contribute to the work of the Stone Center by producing research that contributes to the growing national and international conversation on economic inequality and feasible strategies for furthering fair, effective, and efficient policy and institutional reforms.

The program is structured such that two new postdocs enter each fall semester, for a two-year appointment. The Stone Center is seeking a detailed-oriented individual to coordinate the annual search and to administer each cohort’s appointment at the Stone Center.
