The CUNY Recovery Corps is designed for students between 18 and 24 from select CUNY schools to provide career exploration opportunities and paid work experience.

CUNY Recovery Corps offers youth a unique opportunity to explore their interest and discover new ones through:

• Career Exploration: Flex your research skills and discover new career possibilities.
• Work Experiences: Students aged 18–24 improve their work readiness skills and explore career pathways through paid summer jobs in a variety of industries throughout NYC
• Community Building: Our democracy needs your voice. Learn valuable skills to become an active citizen at work and in your community.
• Earn Money: Get paid to participate! 25 hours / week @ $15 per hour.

Program Timeline

• July 5th / 12th    Student Work Starts
• Aug 9th / 16th    Student Work Ends

CUNY Recovery Corps students must be 18-24 years old, live in one of the five boroughs of New York City, be legally allowed to work in the US and be a CUNY student across six weeks starting in early July. CLIP, CUNY Start, and Math Start students are eligible too!

• Ages of 18 – 24
