Manage and assess training programs and performance including: student enrollment, program completion, certification, job upgrade, instructor and vendor performance, curriculum development and the expenditure of funds
Oversee grant and other institutional reporting requirements including the writing and submission of project narratives, tracking of program records
Prepare statistical reports and analysis related to grant performance
Research, review and develop appropriate training and education curricula
Work with educational partners to customize relevant training and education programs
Establish and cultivate relationships with stakeholders including labor and management representatives, employees at the different institutions to understand workplace changes
Develop, design and implement assessment metrics to identify and assess the extent of workforce changes
Collaborate with labor management stakeholders to identify training needs, relevant career paths and possible training interventions
Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in education, training or equivalent years of work experience required; Master’s degree preferred
Minimum three (3) years experience in adult education, training or workforce development required
Intermediate skill level of Microsoft Word required and Excel preferred
Knowledge of adult education principals, best practices and career coaching preferred
Excellent writing, speaking and organizational skills
Ability to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends and travel to various sites within New York metropolitan area
Ability to work independently, prioritize, handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
