With 145,000 members SEIU 32BJ is the largest union representing property service workers in the country. Our members have fought for and achieved high standards for private and public sector property service workers, and we continue to fight for higher standards for thousands of unorganized service workers. We currently have an opening for a Paralegal to join our Legal department.

The Paralegal is a field investigator, working in NYC, Long Island and New Jersey. S/He will interview witnesses, prepare witness statements, chart data, and work closely with union Organizers and Legal department staff.

Qualified candidates must have strong listening and communication skills in both English and Spanish. They must be detail-oriented with excellent writing and interpersonal skills. The position will require some evening and weekend work, and occasional out of state travel.
