NY Renews Seeks Temporary Campaign Organizer

NY Renews an unprecedented statewide coalition that has come together to fight for climate solutions grounded in equity and justice for communities and working people is seeking a temporary Campaign Organizer to start immediately to help build out our ambitious and groundbreaking statewide campaign this legislative session.

The Campaign Organizer would be responsible for working with NY Renews partner organizations, local activists and organizations to deepen, expand and coordinate participation in the NY Renews campaign over the next two months. The organizer will be responsible for leading on the NY Renews Albany Action Day on June 1st, working with local partners on turn out and mobilization both to Albany and locally in support of the NY Renews agenda, and to support on-going coalition work. The ideal candidate will have experience in staffing organizing committees, managing logistics and mobilization for large actions, digital and social media, and community/legislative organizing.

This is a short-term position until June 30th. Salary is DOE. NY Renews strongly encourages people of color, women and LGBTQ applicants to this position.
