Homes for All St. Louis is a coalition building power in Black and Brown communities around the Greater St. Louis area and altering the socio-political landscape for renter-friendly policies by catalyzing tenant unions. Homes For All is committed to build a transformative movement to win housing as a human right for all people.
Responsibilities:
Homes for All St. Louis is hiring a canvasser to engage St. Louis residents towards a Tenants Bill of Rights, and to gain support for the Tenants Housing Agenda. Tasks include:
- Door to door canvassing
- Surveying residents using mobile Mini Van platform
Job Requirements:
- Experience in canvassing in at least one (1) campaign
- Reliable transportation
- Reliable smartphone with data package
- Ability to navigate phone technology – Mobile Mini VAN
- Excellent “people” skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work on weekdays and weekends
Compensation
The job requires 20 hours of work per week at $15 per hour.
