Since our founding in 1974, ANHD has been key in making New York City’s community development sector among the most effective in the country by providing comprehensive training, robust capacity-building

The DAP project provides timely and useful information about where tenants are most at risk so organizers can strategically target their outreach. This internship will focus on the Watch List component of the project, which collects key information about buildings at-risk of a damaging speculative sale. The intern’s
responsibilities will include:

• Identify potential sources for building sale data.
• Collect data in a standard format and form to evaluate the data.
• Work with ANHD staff to refine the visual and data design of the Watch List.
• Work with ANHD staff to refine the data analysis.
• Populate and produce a new Watch List every month.
• Any other data and analysis task related to the project, as time allows.

QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent practical research skills desired. The ideal candidate will have some familiarity with Excel, statistical analysis, and an interest in affordable housing policy. Applicants should be currently enrolled in a graduate program.

HOURS: Flexible work schedule of approximately 8 hours per week.

COMPENSATION: ANHD will fund the internship through a stipend of $ 15 an hour.
