After bail is paid, the Fund provides and facilitates access to services for clients in need. Our staff works with teams of public defenders, reentry specialists and social service providers. The Fund reports on its results and advocates for reform of the bail system.
We are a young, fast-paced organization and are entering an exciting phase of growth and expansion. We opened our doors in April 2015. In a year and a half, we have expanded to serve more than 1,000 New Yorkers per year and now work in Brooklyn and Manhattan. We are looking for talented individuals dedicated to economic and racial justice to join our growing team.
The Bail Fund encourages individuals to apply who have successfully made the transition from incarceration and/or substance abuse into a stable, productive lifestyle in the community.
We are an Equal Opportunity Employer. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, national or ethnic origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability or veteran status.
