Maintaining extensive and searchable electronic research files

Contributing to team social media and website management and other administrative tasks

Qualifications:

The researcher must have a minimum of two years of relevant professional experience, either at a research institute or in journalism. Strong journalistic writing and investigative research skills are required, including the ability to write engagingly, conduct phone interviews, search databases, and when necessary, use public libraries and access hard to find documents. Professional experience with book research, fact-checking, and Freedom of Information requests are assets. So are a flair for visuals and graphic design.

The researcher will have a proven commitment to the highest standards of accuracy, and must be comfortable interpreting, summarizing, and drawing on natural and social science research of a highly technical nature.
