Resource Generation Seeks Full-Time Retreat Organizer

Resource Generation is seeking a full-time Retreat Organizer. The ideal candidate has direct experience working with and designing programming for progressive young people with wealth, experience organizing national  retreats for 50-100 people, and a demonstrated commitment to social justice.

The Retreat Organizer is a key member of the Organizing Team at Resource Generation, in charge of running high quality regional and national retreats for RG.  We run 3-5 retreats per year. A primary responsibility of the Retreat Organizer is to enhance the quality of RG’s retreats to better build upon and serve our year-round organizing in local chapters. The Retreat Organizer organizes our staff team and member-leaders to collaborate on creating excellent content for our retreats; our Events and Operations Coordinator is responsible for all logistics and financial operations.  This is a mid-level position, reporting to the Chapter Organizing Director.

Please note: The position of Retreat Organizer at RG is new, and experimental. A key piece of work for RG is to figure out how our national retreats can better serve our year-round, chapter-based organizing and leadership development. We seek to hire someone who is equally as excited and flexible to figure this out. While our intention is making this an indefinite, permanent position, we want to be up front that after one year we will re-evaluate fit based on the evolving needs of the organization; it’s possible the position would not continue after that. In the event of that happening and you’ve excelled in the job, we’ll do all we can to help you land somewhere else. It is our ideal that this position will continue indefinitely.
