Immediate opening for a Restorative Justice coordinator in the Bronx

We need your help! The DOE has finally promised us resources to support a restorative justice peer-learning program in the Bronx that will be engaging students, parents, staff and School Safety Agents. The catch? If we can’t find a coordinator by next week, they won’t be able to fund the position. We realize this is an impossible ask, but are venturing to check in with you all to see if you have any prospects in mind who you think could be supportive.

The position would be 20 hours/week from now through June. The Coordinator’s primary job would be to visit schools and support stakeholders in developing skill shares of the programs/practices they are using at their school to build community and implement justice without resorting to punitive measures. The Coordinator would need to have the skills to work with students, parents, staff, and agents, and support stakeholders in both developing workshop content and coaching them with their facilitation skills. Job posting below, please circulate widely!
