“Public Sector Unions on the Line: Right-Wing Attacks & Labor Movement Responses” (Part 1 & Part 2) A one-day conference focused on the right-wing attack on public sector labor as well as efforts to counter those attacks.  Speakers included academic researchers as well as labor and community leaders. “Next System Project NYC Convening” A two-day convening of over 35 sessions with over 500 participants organized around the question: What should the next system look like — and how can we get there? (March 11-12, 2016)

“Challenging the Inevitability of Displacement” A convening of interested and concerned parties across various fields to articulate common needs, exchange strategies and identify promising solution-oriented collaborations to ramp up efforts to address issues of displacement in New York City. “Climate Leadership Immersion” A three-day immersion for union leaders to acquire a solid grasp of the key issues – scientific, technical, political and historical – of climate change and climate policy. (March 2-4, 2016)
