The New York City Network of WorkerCooperatives, in collaboration with CUNY Law School and the CUNY University Student Senate, invites worker-owners, the coop community, lawmakers and the general public to its third annual conference.
The conference will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at The CUNY Law School. This year’s conference promises to be an exciting day of strategy discussions, workshops, panels, and presentations. We will provide space to strategize about how to strengthen the workercooperative economy and ecosystem in NYC by supporting existing workercooperatives and exploring new horizons for the sector in NYC and beyond.
The morning will be a closed strategy session for worker-owners and members of the NYC WorkerCooperative Coalition. At 12:30 we invite the general public for a free lunch, a workercooperative fair with free demos and a sample selection of products and services, and an afternoon of workshops, panels, and exciting discussions.
We aim to make the conference accessible to anyone who wants to attend. Therefore, we are not charging a registration fee but we do ask those who with more resources to make this possible by making a donation here.
The conference is co-hosted by New York City Network of WorkerCooperatives, CUNY Law School’s Community & Economic Development Clinic and the CUNY Law School Student Senate.
